Ingredients
- Chicken fillet
- Cajun Seasoning or Peri-Peri Seasoning
- Buttermilk
- Franks Red Hot Sauce
- Cooking Oil
- Butter Rolls
- Cheese Slices
- Butter
Step by Step Cooking Method
- Cut the chicken fillet into 3 to 4 pieces each
- Marinate it with buttermilk and seasoning
- Leave the marinated chicken to rest for at least 30-min
- After 30-min, pan fry the chicken fillet
- Put aside the pan-fried chicken fillet
- In a separate pan, add the hot sauce and let it slightly boil (keep the fire small throughout this whole process to avoid the sauce from burning)
- Add in the chicken and mix with the sauce for 5 to 10-mins till the chicken pieces are fully coated with the hot sauce
- Remove from pan and set the chicken aside
- Prepare the butter rolls, cut it into half and spread the butter
- Add slide cheese and the chicken pieces (3 to 4 pieces)
- Melt butter, brush the top of the butter roll (option)
- Put it in the oven toaster/ oven/ microwave for 2-3 mins for the cheese to melt
- Remove the slider and it is ready to serve
