Mount Alvernia
The private hospital offers maternity packages for all types of deliveries (normal/assisted/caesarean section). KK Women’s and Children’s hospital
It’s safe to say that KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital is more than equipped to handle your delivery needs. We’re talking 28 private delivery rooms, each of which see the birth of around 30-35 babies each day. It’s also the largest hospital specialising in women’s healthcare in Singapore, so rest assured that you’re in good hands. A-wards also include amenities such as a wardrobe, sofa bed for an accompanying spouse/parent, mini fridge, daily newspapers and a telephone.

Gleneagles Hospital
If privacy and comfort are what you’re after, you’re definitely spoilt for choice at Gleneagles Hospital. A stay at any one of its maternity suites provides a spacious environment for recuperation post-childbirth. The 100m square Tanglin Suite offers professional services like private nursing care and even a complimentary baby bath! Over at the 119m square Gleneagles Suite, an adjoining living room and lodger room for family and loved one allows your entire family to join in the celebrations. Insurance coverage is also included for newborns under AIA Baby Care/ Family Care.

National University Hospital
An in-patient delivery at National University Hospital gives you the option of choosing from a four-bedded room, one-bedded room or deluxe suite. Its deluxe suite patients enjoy a celebration lunch or dinner for mum and dad, along with rooming-in service (at a nominal fee). Learn more about looking after your little bundle of joy as well, with group education programmes on topics like parental infant emotional support, breastfeeding tips and baby care.

Thomson Medical Centre
Designed with a resort feel in mind, you’ll be forgiven for forgetting that you’re in a hospital when checking into Thomson Medical Centre’s maternity suite. Rooms are air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom, Wi-Fi, a nurse-call system and cable TV. To make your delivery experience as smooth as possible, mums can even request for lavender-scented aromatherapy or music to quell those pre-birth nerves! The hospital has also developed a special maternity programme for new parents, with a First Born Incentive (FBI), Subsequent Born Incentive (SBI), and member rates on fetal assessment ultrasound scans and childbirth education classes. Additionally, membership cards may be used for your infant’s follow-up checkups at Thomson Paediatric clinics island-wide.

Raffles Hospital
Maternity packages at Raffles Hospital are inclusive of hospital charges such as obstetricians’ fees (delivery ward attendance, labour ward attendance, total delivery fees), paediatricians’ charges, anaesthetists’ fees (epidural or general anesthesia) and newborn blood screening. The hospital’s complimentary baby package includes handy items like a set of disposable diapers, baby wet wipes and a baby vest during your stay. A breast pump is also available upon request. As for post-delivery care, mums and dads can attend daily ParentCraft sessions, which include advice from a lactation consultant on breastfeeding your baby.

Singapore General Hospital
The oldest public hospital in Singapore, Singapore General Hospital’s maternity wards are equipped with a total of 34 beds, with one-bedded, four-bedded and five-bedded rooms. Facilities include renovated delivery suites, an upgraded Cardiac & Monitoring system for comprehensive obstetric care, and a confinement menu specially created with input from hospital dieticians. The hospital’s big on postnatal care for both you and your baby too, with daily postnatal physiotherapy classes, infant bathing sessions and certified lactation consultants on duty to support you in breastfeeding.

Parkway East Hospital
This private hospital at Telok Kurau welcomes over 2000 babies each year, with an accommodating environment for your new addition to the family. Its maternity ward consists of a delivery suite with 5 delivery rooms and a 2-bedded first stage room, a neonatal intensive care unit, nursery, parentcraft room, and selection of either four-bedded, two-bedded, single rooms or a deluxe room. Even its 4-bedded rooms include a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a safe deposit box. Now that’s what we call a luxe hospital stay!
